Ewww Gross!

In the spirit of spring and rain and mud I had to mention my favorite gross book, "Toad," by Ruth Brown. This is one of my favorite examples of a children's book with wonderfully descriptive language.

"He's nasty, septic, toxic and bitter"

"He's odorous, oozing, foul and filthy"

"You will just fall in love with him!
